A piece created at Leeds Beckett University.
The work takes the process of cleaning and the heightened awareness of the act due to Covid, and transforms it into a form of performance art. I begin the activity by creating gestured marks on the surface using objects that we would associate with cleaning. The end see’s myself cleaning; a way to disguise the ‘happening’ and knowing of something taking place.
