“THE ARMS-STORY” by Marielle Gonier

THE ARMS- STORY is an improvisation work which focuses on a specific part of the body: the arms. The particularity of the performance is to consider the arms as full-fledged energy vectors, bringing all the rest of the body through an instinctive story.

After an introduction to dance and a strong musical education at the conservatory , Marielle left her native island, Martinique, for the United States to complete her artistic education. In New York, she pursued her studies in classical dance at the Russian Ballet School and in Broadway, perfecting her skills in contemporary, Modern and Jazz dances. After this enriching experience, her High School Diploma in hand, she reached Paris, determined to follow her passion for Performing Arts. There, she pursued her education at the School of Ballet Goube and at the International Academy of Dance: ballet, contemporary dance, theater and musicals. This while learning to assist filmmaking. . She is regularly conducts performances, staging and scenography. She also graduated in Performing Arts from Paris VIII University. Actually, she s managing a creative concept of performances and happenings in singular contexts with her own art industry , UN JOUR/ UNE PERFORMANCE.
