Soojin Chang (Korea/USA): Time Study
- duration 60 min
- Watch: 13th August 2017 at 4:45 pm UTC – NEW TIME
DESCRIPTION: “Time Study #2” / This is a transatlantic, simultaneous concert. Soojin Chang and Jack Everett stream from London on Greenwich Mean Time. Yeajin Angela Chang streams from Sunnyvale, CA on Pacific Daylight Time.
For one hour, each person in each screen will keep time in the way they know how. No mechanized clocks can be used. The performers will leave when they believe an hour has passed.
The performance is spontaneous. Neither side has previous knowledge of content. Neither stream can hear one another.
How does time feel without mechanised time?
