We are at the mouth of Tiber river, Italy. There are 2 kinds of derealization here: the first one is the waste place itself; the second one is the exodus (that\’s why you will listen to Psalm 114 in the soundtrack): if you escape an oppressive structure you have to become an alternative structure. Derealization can be a form of escapism. The statement by Wisława Szymborska at the very beginning reminds it.
