DESCRIPTION: Instarchitect#Belgrade#Performance is applying another layer of human body and interior architecture to the photo installation. The architect is endlessly walking the city between the same buildings thinking about the space, souls, abstracts and reality. City is an endless inspiration. The setting is between art, architecture, fashion and humans as their consumers and creators.
Instarchitect#Belgrade is digital installation of photographs that in a performative way researches architecture and art in a context of modern society. The exhibition is a reaction to the “Instagram perceptions” of the city and poses a question on artistic concepts and art works; “conceptual” Instagram profiles seen as exhibitions have much more visitors, and reactions than galleries. Photographs are talking about Belgrade, cultural heritage, architecture and the architect. They are researching relations between people and architecture; whom are the photographs actually about? The artist sees the city as a human being. Architecture is often admired, and “portraits” of architecture are often stars of the photos on the social networks. Even if we try to see buildings as humans, the question is who the bigger stars on the photographs are, as the real faces always get more reactions? The project can be followed afterwards @instaaarchitect.
