A new way of living religion.
BIO: Giulia Giannola is an Italian artist born in 1985, in Naples. After finishing her Bachelor degree in Visual arts and Theater in Venice at the IUAV University, she moves to Berlin where she graduated as Meisterschülerin in Installation and Multimedia at the Universität der Künste (UdK), with Prof. Christiane Möbus and was guest student in artist Candice Breitz class at HBK Braunschweig.
Her work draws inspiration from the observation of public/collective or personal life situations, in which time factors such as duration and rhythm, are called into question, twisted and transformed, suggesting alternate realities. She produces staged situations, performances, interventions in public space, and videos.
