BIO: Thatiana Cardoso is a visual artist. She graduated in Fine Arts at Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo (2016), where she also did the post-graduation in Art History (2020). Sinse 2013, the artist works mainly with photography, video, performance, and drawing in which she explores tensions between the strangeness and familiarity of everyday domestic objects through appearances, and illusions of images. For the artist, object and human are in symbolic equivalence, in an unceasing attempt to dilute the fine line that separates elements of domestic life from the domesticated body.
